Christ Enters Our Bitter, Messy Situations
He still comes close and His presence changes everything.
Jesus didn’t come only to save us for eternity—He came to meet us in our pain today. He dwells with us, offering healing, comfort, and daily transformation.
“My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” – Ezekiel 37:27
I experienced this kind of healing presence at one of the lowest points in my family’s journey. God met me in unexpected ways through a Bible school in Ohio, through community, provision, and even the kind of intimate care only a Father can give. One day, I journaled, “You’re my Dad. I need a wedding dress and a ticket to New Zealand.” That week, both arrived—miraculously and tenderly.
These kinds of moments don’t just patch up our pain—they reveal who God is. He’s the One who steps into our ache and calls us by name.
When Andrew and I first met, he wrote a poem titled Christ in Eden—not knowing yet that my name is Eden Christine. That moment became symbolic: not just of a budding relationship, but of God’s revelation to me that Christ lives in me, and He is always writing a redemptive story.
“Christ in you, the hope of glory.” – Colossians 1:27
We don’t have to live from broken identities or fear-driven striving. Christ speaks to who we truly are, and invites us to grow into the fullness of that truth. He’s not just our Savior—He’s our Healer, our Guide, and the One who redefines everything.

Jesus, thank You for entering the bitter and broken places in my story. You don’t leave me in pain—you meet me in it. Speak to me again. Heal what hurts. Reveal who You are. Teach me to live from Your truth and presence. Amen.
